Eu's very own film prize The LUX Prize went 2017 to the Swedish film Sami blood - a movie about heritage, the arctic, minorities, injustice and persecution. In the north, the cultural creativity is enormous and can be seen as one of the most important driving forces in the construction of the modern society of the future - in the arctic of the future.

Join us in a seminar about cultural heritage, Sapmi, filmmaking and policy. In the seminair program we’re very happy to introduce the EU commissioner of Culture- Tibor Navracsics– and one of the Sami producers of Sami blood-  Oskar Njajta Östergren.
