Priyantha Wijayatunga

My main work is on developing prediction models for medical applications based on artificial intelligence and statistical methodologies. At MT-FoU, I am currently involved in a project that applies Markov graphical modelling methodology and artificial intelligence methods, such as Bayesian network model, to build probabilistic expert systems and prediction tools for guiding treatment process of traumatic brain injury.

My other competences are in theoretical developments in statistics, statistical modeling applications, etc.

I am a senior lecturer in statistics since 2008 and I obtained D.Sc. Degree in Mathematical and Computing Sciences in 2007.
